Men do not wear tank tops!!!

I do not know if this post will interest my readers but I think I have to share this because it's kinda funny how ignorant people can be. 

So here is the thing..... Wednesday afternoon I went out to buy a tank top for a pool party that I have to attend on the weekend. I went to a store in a shopping mall,asked for a tank top and the sales girl looked at my face funny. I stood there wondering if there is something wrong with my face. After  10 seconds of awkwardness I had to ask her again and she told me- "Sir, men do not wear tank tops".

 That was the exact moment when I wanted to lift my hands up and go SNAP SNAP SNAP on her face.

 Seriously!! I would have probably believed her if it was the 80's but now a days tank tops are a very legitimate clothing option for any regular guy, specially when you are a guy who likes to work out and keep fit.It's the "IN" thing for summers. Yeah it's true that you only wear it if you can pull it off but hey sales gurl- you need to tune up your knowledge. I mean who gave you the job when you do not even know the basics?

 I like wearing tank tops it's very comfortable and makes you look very trendy. Well so far I have not done any photo shoot wearing them but I think now I need to get it done.

 After that incident I have given up the idea of going to a store to buy the top. Sighhhh.. I guess I will have to wear an old one or a T for the pool party but hey I have just the perfect website to order them from. Try American Apparel or H&M. It's cheap and best.

 Here is a pic of me in a tank top that a friend of mine took like 6 months back.

What do you think about men in tank tops? Should they or should they not?

    I totally agree with you. Of course it depends on which kind of tank top though: i don't like TIGHT tank tops for men for example. But I like them in general if it's worn in the appropriate situation :)
