Facing humiliation in the face and being fearless!!

All those years of nagging and complaining about my looks, my skin color, my height, my weight is slowly coming to an end. Thanks to all my wonderful friends who have helped me to overcome my insecurities, for walking with me all along the way. I now feel better about myself more than ever. I know I am not rich, my job does not pay what I dreamed of but then it's just the start and I know I will get there slowly but surely.

It's very easy to sit back and judge people and I know there are people in my home town, looking at my blogs and Facebook page and wondering WTF is wrong with me.Lately I have been receiving messages from random dick headed assholes asking me why do I dress the way I do? Whats the point of blogging about it and making it so public,Why do I talk about fashion when I am an International business student and If I swing the other way? I mean first of all why do you even care?Do you have a lack in life? Don't you have things to do or get the poop off your own shoes? 

I got just one answer for y'all- Take that finger and shuv it up your own rotting arse!!

I love fashion and everything related to it. It makes me different, unusual and I like that part about myself, being unpredictable, making people think twice and being unique is what I have always loved. It does not matter if even my own relatives hate me coz I got my people who I call my world. 

I do not care if I have dislikes and negative responses to my pictures and blogs but if I can have only one person who appreciates me and gets me then that's more than enough for but hey don't get me wrong ...I got more than enough friends who not only appreciate me but motivate and educate me to be fearless.

Anyway... getting back to my blogging. Saturday was one hell of a day for me. I guess the busiest I have been in three months. It's always advisable to keep an alarm ready when you know  your shifts are tight the next day and waking up early is essential. Welllll... that's exactly what I forgot to do. Had to rush through shower, no breakfast, no time to polish my shoes and absolutely no time to even think about what to wear. Lucky enough for me I had these floral pants hanging on my chair  which I bought two weeks back and the fabulous pair of Nike shoes. The way I pulled my clothes out from my closet almost looked like I was taking rags out to throw. Oh by the way .... I know the look ain't that great but you will love the detail of my bag which is- It is completely made out of weed fiber.

Breaking in with Spring

It's marvelous to see the weather change beautifully. The colors in the sky, the rainbow, the trees and the flowers.

Spring is the most amazing season of all, following winter and preceding summer. In India we consider Spring as a season of rebirth, regrowth, rejuvenation, joy and also festivals like Holi, Easter and Ugadi.

Inspired by most of the fashion icons, designers, stylists, I also believe that one should dress up according to the season and the mood.

On a beautiful Spring Saturday afternoon,after  having a hectic week, I was in a mood of some virgin mojito with my friends. As the day was bright and colorful, I decided to wear something to compliment the season as well as my pleasant mood.

Surprisingly, I saw a lot of men wearing colors on the street (for a change I din't feel like a freak as most of the men in India believe that colors are meant for women and that being in shades of grey is the way to show masculinity to the world)- Losers I tell ya!!

Anyway, long story short- Spring is here and y'all should f*****g enjoy it.

Summer is coming in real quick.

So they just soft launched a skate boarding ring in the city, me and my Friend got an invite to go for the inauguration. I did not quite know how to dress up for a warm sporty evening so I decided to dig in my closet take something out and do something out of it. 

 Yes, I ripped my clothes off :D ... The idea was to be comfortable but in style. I ripped my Levis jeans and made a shorts out of it, tore my converse shirt from the sides to make it a tank top. I covered myself with a shirt just in case the weather turns cold (I can bare my legs freezing but my body- NO), Jessy Jorden boots and my NY fitted cap to complete the look.

I know it's not the best but it did give me a feel good factor.

My friend Shilpa and I decided to pack our bags take the camera and the tripod and see if we could click few of the skate boarders but that did not happen since the crowd was massive and they were not disciplined. I somehow managed to take few pics (the ones you see in the beginning of the blog). The evening was interesting but after an hour it just got monotonous so we decided to make it a little fun. We started driving around looking for a nice location to click pictures, we could not find anything appealing so we snuck into a photography prohibited electrical supplying unit area to click pictures. We sweet talked the security guard to let us in and he did, it was not long after which the head of security came and threw us out.

Need to go shopping.

Moved in a new city but forgot all my clothes in my home town. Aaahh.... I seriously need to go out shopping, enough of mixing the old and new shitt...I mean it's not shitt, it's good but I'm just so tired of wearing the limited clothes I have. I either need to go home for a weekend and get the suitcase full of fabulousity or just go out and spend some money to buy those dazzling shittt... 

Tank tops are something which I have been  wearing from last summer and I guess I kinda do pull it off well. It's damn comfortable if you have not tried it yet.  Hey hold on now.... if your thinking tank tops are only for women then Google it bitches.

Screw work lets go for a long drive

I guess I do like doing things in a weird way... or should I just say doing things suddenly. 

So I just got a new job and I work in the night shift... you know the "US" clients ..... uuggrrhhh. I work till 4 in the morning and I sleep during day time.. which completely makes sense for someone like me. I then get up do my own thing of lazing around or just go out to meet someone or just sit and blog, but it was a Wednesday afternoon when my friend and I decided to go for a long drive. A part of me was thinking how will I go for work and the rest of me was like........ screw work lets go for a drive...lol.

 and so we went rollin on the road, clicking pictures wherever we could and what do you know- I made it to my work on time as well .... talk about being efficient enough (wink).

Oscar review 2013- All my lovely ladies

So I know I was talking about Oscars and predicting what the celebrities mite bring to the red carpet. Good or bad surprises, and once again the starshines of the tinsel town did not disappoint.

I personally think that Oscar winner Jenifer Lawrence stole the show in her Dior Couture even though she tripped and fell while going to receive her award. Ahh...even that looked so elegant. 

Next in my list is Charlize Theron. Oh my, the woman is 37 and look how that Dior dress is triumph on her. Her tall figure was bringing that white Dior couture dress to life, (Even the fashion expert Sam Saboura said that). 

Halle Berry dazzled in her Versace gown. I wonder how age does nothing to these women.
Not to be forgotten that this time round Jennifer Aniston   blew everyone's mind away by wearing that Salvatore Ferragamo ball gown.    She has proved that she is one of the most fashionable actresses in the business. Renee Zellweger dazzled as she walked the red carpet in her shimmery gold Carolina Herrera dress. She is one lady who never disappoints the Oscar looks. 


Naomi Watts turned heads when she entered in Armani dress which had a neckline which was a rare design. Her dress hugged her elegantly in all the right places and did you guys see our lovely very pregnant Jenna Tatum? 

Well last but the not the least....another Oscar winner Anne Hathaway. Gorgeous would be an understatement, she is beautiful, elegant, a complete doll... but I do not understand the reason behind her choosing that hideous Prada pale pink dress.... I mean really Anne, what were you thinking?  Apparently she was suppose to wear Valentino but in the 11th hour she changed her mind and shocked the world, now I do not know what made Anne change her mind because there is a relationship going on between Hathaway and Valentino like a father and daughter (Valentino reportedly said that.
Now the reason behind the change of dress still remains a mystery and I am hoping to hear something soon... anyway....

  

In a blue world

The air in Bangalore was little nippy that day and I chose to wear one of my favorites jumpers that I bought almost 6 months back from a store I really can't remember the name of. All I remember is that it was in Lille, France in a mall called Euro Lille. 

It was like love at first sight. I fell in love with the color and I had just the perfect shoes and sunglasses to match with it. 

Jeans are Lee Cooper and shoes are from a local cheap store of Rome.(yeah had no other option in those broke days..lol) Completed the look with my fitted cap which I brought from H&M.
